Lacrosse is one of many sports that are not as much bandied as are football and basketball are, in terms of conference realignment. This is an article from Maizeandbrew, a University of Michigan SI companion website that talks about how the Big Ten has been in talks with schools like Johns Hopkins in solidifying a lacrosse league within the Big Ten. It would certainly add more value to the Big Ten Network whenever contracts are renegotiated and it would give the channel even more programming.
